Help support the men and women striving to get off public aid. Many of these people have not been in the business world and no longer have interview appropriate clothing. We encourage and support two programs to help resolve this problem.

The future is for the women. Dress for Success(tm) Midwest satellite boutique provides interview-appropriate clothing to low income women seeking employment. Clients are referred by other not-for profit member organizations, including Welfare-to-Work program, domestic-violence shelters, incarcerated-women's programs and job training programs. Each woman gets two suits, one for an interview and another after she gets the job. These are complete outfits, to include shoes, hosiery, jewelry and purses. There is no cost to the client. These suits symbolize our faith in each woman's ability to succeed.

We have not forgotten you men. Career Gear provides interview-appropriate clothing for low-income men seeking employment. This is a new program that we have started and to make it a success we will need donations of suit, slacks, shirts, ties, socks and shoes for men.
Help support these men and women by helping with our men's clothing outlet and women's boutique. Become a volunteer today. If yon don't have time to volunteer, remember us each season, when you clean out those closets. If the clothing can be worn for job interviews, we want it! We are especially in need of larger sizes! Remember - the better they look, the better they feel, and the better they do on the interview!
